Inclement Weather Planning and Notification


The Church Council President, in conjunction with the Pastor, will determine whether church services or events will be canceled or postponed. They will communicate the information as quickly as possible.

Events during the week may also be canceled due to the weather. 
Ivy Chapel follows the Parkway and Rockwood School districts closure protocol.
However, permission to have outside activities on inclement weather days may be granted by the Pastor or any Council member.

It will be up to you to notify your group(s) of the decisions made to cancel your activity.

Notification of closings or cancelations will be available on the following television stations:

  • KTVI Channel 2
  • KMOV Channel 4
  • KSDK Channel 5
