Prayers for all people living in the Middle East. Prayers for residents of the Gaza Peninsula, for Palestinians, for Israelis, for Muslims, Jews, Christians, people of all faith traditions, and people affiliated with no faith tradition. All are children of God.
Prayers for all human beings who are in the Middle East; especially civilians living in Gaza. We pray to God that forthcoming actions will not lead to injury or death of more innocent people. An all-out, Israeli military assault on Gaza is not a solution. The world must recognize that brutal, ruthless Israeli retaliation for the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attack will not result in security or peace. The international community (all humankind) must refuse to condone warfare; especially the killing of innocent citizens.
Prayers for a major reduction in gun violence. The atrocity of recurring “mass shootings” in the U. S. A. is a grievous circumstance which is unacceptable to God. Living God summons all people of faith – citizens and legislators! – to act boldly to bring about meaningful change.
Prayers for peace in the nation of Ukraine. May God be present. Prayers for all victims (physical, emotional, spiritual) of the March 22 terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.

Help all people to offer great care to our words and actions. May you, O Spirit of Peace, lead humankind.
