The Rev. Dan Wilson has been serving God as the pastor of Ivy Chapel United Church of Christ since 1999. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982 from the Ohio State University.  In 1987, he received a Master of Divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary, and he was ordained into Christian ministry at North Congregational United Church of Christ in Columbus, Ohio.  Pastor Dan previously served UCC congregations in Oakville, Missouri; Evansville, Wisconsin; and Eureka, Kansas.  He celebrates, “Serving God as a pastor offers ever-new challenges, exceptional blessings, and profound joys!  I am grateful to God for giving me opportunities to serve Christ in this humbling and holy calling.”

God has blessed Pastor Dan and his partner Sue with two marvelous children, a son Ashton and a daughter Sarah.  Over his lifetime of participating in God’s Church, Pastor Dan has been moved by experiencing the goodness, kindness, unselfishness, wisdom, faith, and graciousness of many, many followers of Christ.

The United Church of Christ is a church for everyone.  God loves all people.

No matter what, no matter where, no matter who; you are welcome here!

Kara White became Ivy’s Office Administrator in August of 2022. She is enjoying her position with Ivy Chapel UCC and being able to continue to serve the Lord through this position. Kara was a stay at home mom and “professional volunteer” for her church and their local schools as well as several other organizations while her children were growing up and more recently re-entered the workforce. She has a passion for helping others and is very active in roles locally with American Cancer Society, League of Women Voters, as a Girl Scout Leader and her HOA. Her husband, Edward, works for the non-profit Mercy Health Foundation and they have two adult children, in Pittsburgh and Denver, whom they enjoy visiting as often as possible!
